24/7 40-Day Prayer Vigil for Peace on the Korean Peninsula

We're here at the Choi Ja-sil Memorial Fasting Prayer Mountain in Osan-ri, Paju, Gyeonggi Province, where the 40-day prayer meeting for unification is taking place. Starting just two days after the inter-Korean summit in April, this prayer meeting has been ongoing for 40 days, 24 hours a day, praying for peace and unification on the Korean Peninsula. The prayer meeting began four years ago, inspired by the vision shared by Mark Cho, a missionary affiliated with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Mark Cho hopes that those attending the prayer meeting will not only experience personal revival but also see it extend to their families and society.
